If you have a passion for dance and are well presented with a fun and personable approach to dealing with people we would like to talk to you about joining our team as a Trainee Instructor. Whilst the hours are flexible depending on the individuals situation you will be required to work are predominantly Monday to Friday evenings and Saturdays once employed.
Our In House Trainee Instructor Program will equip you with the skills and knowledge to excell as a Dance Instructor in any Studio and you get to earn while you learn. Whilst we are currently looking for full time instructors our In House Traineeships are flexible and can be delivered on either a full time or part time basis so even if you're a full time student or employed full time but looking for a change of career they can be tailored to suit your situation.
The Dancecorp Interview and Selection Process:
Step One: Register below to attend initial Group Interview which will be held on Saturday the 30th of July from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Studio Location is 1st Floor, 38 Fisher Street, East Brisbane. During this Group Interview you will be assessed on you personal presentation (after five professional but stylish), dance aptitude and your people skills.
Step Two: Attend Group Interview where we will conduct a dance workshop and you will be taught a variety of dances in order to assess your dance aptitude. As this is a Group Interview you will not be asked to perform any solo dance demonstrations. We will require that you leave a copy of your resume' and it should be noted that spectators are not permitted and the doors will be locked at 7:00pm so as to prevent any disruption by late arrivals. At the end of the Group Interview Successful applicants will be selected for individual interviews during the following week.
Step Three: Attend Individual Interview where the position and training program will be discussed in more detail including, wages and work hours.
Step Four: Attend a second Group Interview that will be conducted on Saturday the 6th of August from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. During the second Group Interview a variety of training will be conducted including additional dance workshops.
Step Five: The following week all applicants will be contacted and the successful applicants will be booked to attend a final Pre Appointment interview. Employment will commence from Monday the 15th of August.
